It's the most adorable story of the day.

As we all saw, Houston got hit with some pretty severe flooding. The floods forced several families to evacuate their houses. Some sick person not only left their dog behind, they left him chained to the front porch. What the hell man? The owner of the dog said he was off getting dialysis treatment when his house flooded.

Luckily police were in a boat looking for people to save and Sheriff Troy Nehls spotted the animal. They got him safely to the local animal shelter. Happy to report the dog has found a home with Sherrif Nehls. From the photos, the dog looks happy and looks like he has a loving family around him.
