An under the weather Billy Corgan has revealed that Smashing Pumpkins are currently at work in the studio with uber producer Rick Rubin in a post to Instagram.

During a recent interview, Taylor expressed regret for calling Rubin 'overrated' and 'overpaid' while performing a spoken-word gig in 2011.

I often express admiration for Rick Rubin's body of work as a producer. Face it, he's had a hand in on some of the biggest albums of all time and you can't deny that it's a pretty big deal to work with the man.
