I have to admit, I thought about changing my grades back in the day. I mean, a D does turn into a B so easily on a report card. Granted I never went through with it, but on that long bus ride home, I definitely thought about doing it. Well one student hacked into his school's network and changed his grades on there.

Jacob Mahonri Espinal, a Brigham Young University-Idaho student, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and five years of probation for felony computer fraud and grand theft after he was caught altering his failing grades. The university noticed when his failing grades magically turned into straight A's over night.

I don't care how much extra credit you do, that doesn't happen. Believe me, I have tried. To the kids out there still in school: don't alter your grades. Turns out it could land your ass in jail.
