'Off the Record' is a video series where we ask artists questions about anything with one exception: No questions about music. This is your chance to peer behind the music and into the daily lives these artists lead outside of their profession. Topics range from good eats (last meals, ice cream) to mischief (dumbest thing done in the name of fun, getting sent to the principal's office) to getting real (biggest fear, worst injury) to the eternal struggle of winning something cool from a claw machine.

Skillet's John and Korey Cooper are one of the rare success stories in rock in that they're married bandmates. Love is a fragile thing and the music industry is not often considerate of this propulsive emotion, but what's apparent from this Off the Record episode is that the couple are built to last.

Laughter appears to be the glue to their relationship. They finish each other's sentences (aww) and playfully antagonize one another, which is apparent from the first question. When pressed about the dumbest thing they've ever done for fun, Korey goes straight for the jugular and exposes John, but it's he who used to do all the exposing.

"He moons people a lot," she blurted out on his behalf. The singer protested that it's been 20 years since he's offered anyone an unwilling glimpse at his keister, but admitted he used to knock on doors, flash some tush and run off. Thanks for leaving the "dong" out of ding dong ditch, buddy.

Other evidence that points to John and Korey being the perfect complement to each other comes when they pick which villain they would be. It's the classic brains vs. braun scenario as John spells out, "You would be not a scary one, but a smart one. You'd be the smart villain that figures all the stuff out. I would be the dumb guy that just wants to blow crap up." Korey has more confidence in her one and only, expressing confidence that he could be a mix of destructive and intelligent — The Joker.

Worst injury? For Korey, that'd be having a baby. With a hearty laugh, John confessed, "It was like a nuclear assault down there." Oh my...

As the episode winds down, you'll notice something peculiar. During an innocuous conversation about types of ice cream, an undead figure appears at the end of the prison cell block and slowly makes her way down the pathway. Is this video haunted? Are you doomed? Let's see if you survive the night to find out.
