Sanctuary Return With Ripping New Track ‘Arise and Purify’

Sanctuary deliver their first new track in 25 years and the wait was well worth it.

I was bummed out when Nevermore went on hiatus back in 2011 but the fact that Sanctuary had recently got back together softened the blow. Vocalist Warrel Dane said the band would put out a new album when they reformed in 2010 but after a while, I started to wonder if it was ever gonna happen.

But it is most certainly gonna happen. The first track from The Year the Sun Died has arrived and if "Arise and Purify" is any indication, the record is gonna live up to the lofty expectations of a band that called it quits way to early.
