Ricky Gervais Wins the 2014 Emmy’s With His Speech [VIDEO]

I didn't watch the Emmy's this year, but this speech was too good not to share.

I thought the coolest news to come out of the Emmy's was that Sarah Silverman got busted with pot on the red carpet. Nope, Ricky Gervais gave the best speech I have ever heard during an awards show. Well it was just a generic winning speech.

However, Ricky didn't win. He was nominated for actor in a comedy series, but Jim Parsons from "The Big Bang Theory" took those honors. Well when Ricky went to go present the award for outstanding writing in a variety special, he decided to do his speech anyway. What's crazy, this is the award that Sarah Silverman won. I would say they are the only two highlights I have seen from the show so far.
