Ozzy’s Not Retiring, He’s Just Not Doing World Tours Anymore

Sounds like the “No More Tours” thing is for real this time.

I don’t pull any punches when I hear a band or musician say they’re retiring after a tour. My experience is that they never go through with it, which leads me to believe the “retirement” tour was just a stunt to sell more tickets.

So, I have to hand it to Ozzy for avoiding the word “retirement” this time around. In an interview promoting his appearance as the headliner for the first-ever Download Festival in Japan, he clarified that while the “No More Tours 2” tour is indeed a farewell tour, he’s not hanging it up.
