Not One, But Two Umpires in Mexico Made the Worst Call in the History of Baseball

I’m still trying to process this one.

The only thing I can think of is that we’re talking about Mexico (where corruption is rampant) and maybe these dudes are on the take – because that batter clearly swung and missed that pitch.

I could understand if maybe the home plate ump was briefly distracted and thought the batter checked his swing, but the first base ump called it a ball upon appeal.

Unbelievable.
