Quick, get me a Delorean, so I can start training my younger self for this.

The Nintendo World Championships was the first video game competition I had ever heard of. I was way too young to even think about going to this thing, but I remember reading about it in old video game magazines growing up. It took place in 1990 and was a custom competition with its own cartridge. You had to score points in three games. Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer and Tetris.

Well this was the only time they did the Nintendo World Championships. Until now! E3, the biggest video game conference in North America is always a huge deal. However, this year it's going to be even more special with the Nintendo World Championships making it's first ever return. No details on what games will be played at the event, but who cares. I just want to go.
