When I go to bed at night, I always let my cat know where I’m going. I won’t tell you what I say specifically, because my baby-talk is embarrassing, but I tell her what I’m up to and she follows me to bed. It’s cute and it’s sweet, and she always seems happy to be hanging out with me. Pets are enriching to our lives. They lower blood pressure, calm your nerves, and even provide someone to talk to when everyone else is out of the house. Some pets don’t have a permanent home, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an energetic puppy that loves kids to at cat who’s just as laid back and quiet as you are, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.
