NBC Rebooting ‘Heroes’ With Miniseries [VIDEO]

I saw a trailer released on Saturday and I thought it was a joke. Turns out 'Heroes' will be coming back in 2015.

When this show first came out it was mind blowing, honestly the first season of a TV show is usually terrible. If you have never watched the show before, it is kind of like a X-men TV series. Where people with super powers live in the normal world. The big tagline for the first season was "Save the cheerleader, save the world". The whole reason for this is because the cheerleader had the ability to heal herself from any injury. Similar to how wolverine heals in X-men. The villain of the show was Sylar and he would kill other people for their powers. If he gained the power to heal, he would be unstoppable. If you have never watched this show the entire series is on Netflix, but you have to watch the first season for sure.

Unfortunately what killed 'Heroes' in my opinion was the 2007-2008 writers strike, you may remember many of your shows not being able to be written because of this. Well after the writers strike the 'Heroes' storyline got completely ruined, in fact it was garbage. With how the final season ended, they left you on a cliffhanger and many thought it was coming back for a fifth season. After much waiting with nothing but a few comic books released on the internet, we have had no 'Heroes'.

Until Saturday night when I was at the bar and saw the twenty second preview released below. I thought this was a prank, but 'Heroes' is returning for thirteen episodes in 2015. It will be called 'Heroes Reborn' and I am excited like a kid on Christmas waiting for it.
