Limp Bizkit drummer John Otto and his daughter Ava star as two contestants in CBS' new reality dance competition TV series Come Dance With Me.

Last year, while Limp Bizkit were out on the road before abruptly canceling the remainder of their tour due to COVID safety concerns, Otto was absent from the group while Brand Pertzborn (Marilyn Manson, Ho99o9, Black Flag) filled in. His time away from the nu-metal behemoths was likely due to scheduling conflicts as CBS reportedly filmed the new show between May and July of last year.

Come Dance With Me, which premiered on April 15, pits parent and child dance duos against one another, judged by a panel of celebrity guests with a grand prize of $100,000 for the winner. The catch is that each kid has a background in dance while the respective parent is a relative novice, which should create amusing mismatches as the parents aim to improve their skillset to advance to subsequent rounds of competition.

"I was a bit on the bossy side. I like having control. It was very nice," Ava told Celebrity Page about the experience. Otto chimed in, "I just [tried to] keep it one foot in front of the other and just worried about not trying to embarrass her, let alone embarrass myself — I already embarrassed myself," to which Ava shot back, "You were great, you didn't embarrass me! I am so thankful for anyone who is supporting us. It was a big step for the both of us so it's really great knowing that people are supporting us from everywhere."
