Taking a Helicopter to Dallas Cowboys Practice is Peak Jerry Jones
The Dallas Cowboys owner made a grand entrance to The Star...in the middle of practice, nonetheless.
To be clear, I don’t have a problem with a billionaire using a helicopter to get around Dallas-Fort Worth. I hate the traffic there enough that I would be tempted to do it myself if I were filthy rich.
My thing is that landing a helicopter on the field in the middle of practice is the perfect example of how big a distraction he is. Everyone who is close to the team will tell you it is a circus-like atmosphere 24/7.

I remember listening to an interview with Dalton Schultz after leaving the team and signing with the Texans. He talked about how they would be in the weight room and there would be fans outside watching them through the window.
Can you imagine how uncomfortable that would be? But those fans paid good money to watch their team workout, and those players will just have to learn to deal with it.
We fans are sick and tired of hearing about how committed to winning and focused on football they are. Because in my opinion, ownership measures success by just how much money they’re making.
