Why This Texan is Head Over Heels for the French Version of the Dallas Theme Song

People in foreign countries usually watch the same shows we here in America watch, they just dub in voices speaking that country's language. But did you know they usually have original theme songs as well?

The video at the bottom of this article is of the French version of the popular TV show from the seventies and eighties called "Dallas".

Why Change Perfection?

I'm not sure why they needed to compose new music for "Dallas". I would get it if it were a song that had English lyrics such as "Cheers". But the "Dallas" theme song was an instrumental, and it is perfect.

Are There Others?

However, upon giving the video below a listen, I have to say that this version slaps as well! It's perfect for those Frenchies over there eating their croissants and whatnot. I mean, it makes me want to hear the French version of other theme songs such as "Starsky and Hutch."
