Iowa Park Woman Accused of Punching Her Son in the Face

The fate of Iowa Park will be decided as it should be, in Mortal Kombat. 

I currently have no kids at the moment. I have seen some parents that would love to give their kids a good punch over some stupid thing they're doing. This was really something stupid to punch your kid over. Starla Veita Chester allegedly punched her 10-year-old son in the face because he was chewing gum and what he wore to school.

The boy showed up to Bradford Elementary School with dried blood on his face, hands and legs. According to the boy's younger brother, his mom grabbed the victim by the hair and began hitting him in the face. This caused the victim's nose to bleed "very badly."

According to TRN, the brother would go on to say his mother threatened him. She said if the boys told anyone what she did, they would be grounded for life and would be going to Colorado to live with his biological father.

The boys say their mom's behavior happens sometimes every week, to a month at a time. The mother was brought in for questioning. According to police, she changed her story several times. Apparently what set her off was the boy wanted to wear shorts instead of pants to school. She also admitted to using a coat hanger on the boy and pulling his hair at times.

Chester was arrested Thursday and booked into the Wichita County Jail on a charge of injury to a child with bodily injury. Her bail was set at $20,000
