Hollywood Records Releases Lyric Video To Controversial Breaking Benjamin Track "Blow Me Away"

In what seems to be a real dick move, Hollywood Records has released a lyric video for the 2011 remix of the Breaking Benjamin song “Blow Me Away.” The new edition of the track features guest vocals by Syd Duran of Valora, whoever that is, and is available now on iTunes. It will also be included on Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin, a two-CD collection due out on August 16th. Shallow Bay is the unauthorized “best-of” that the record company is releasing despite Ben’s objections.

I wouldn’t buy it solely because Ben says it’s not his. He is the main songwriter and founder of the band, and if you let record companies release what they want the world would be full of sh@tty music. But here’s the lyric video, and we’ll see where the future lawsuit goes from here.
