Another day, another person doing something stupid on the freeway in Texas. I’m afraid to ask what’s next, because I probably don’t want to know the answer.

It’s a well-known fact that Texas is home to some of the worst drivers on the planet. Don’t get me wrong – there are plenty of good drivers here, it’s just that those folks never go viral.

The latest “genius” to become social media famous is the guy who had the bright idea to drive a go-kart on a crowded freeway in Houston, as you can see in the video below. Not only is that all kinds of illegal, but it’s also a good way to get yourself killed. 

The thing is, I’m not the biggest fan of driving in the big city in a regular vehicle, which at least offers some protection. So, I couldn’t imagine whipping in and out of that traffic on a go-kart. All it would take is some guy driving a lifted truck who couldn’t see him for it to end tragically.

Will Texas Drivers Ever Learn?

I’m going to assume the dude driving the go-kart is okay, because I haven’t heard otherwise. Still, it would be pretty awesome if people stopped being stupid on the roads here in Texas. But you and I both know that’s not going to happen.
