Alabama TV Station Reports That Water Freezes When It’s Cold [VIDEO]

A reporter from WAFF-TV in Huntsville, Ala., was outside reporting on how cold it was the other day -- about 20 degrees.

She seemed a little too impressed with the fact that if you put a glass of water outside, it would freeze.

She put two cups of water outside to see which one would freeze faster: one in a plastic cup and one in a styrofoam cup. Then, she showed how one of them was about half frozen.

Granted, this is in Alabama, where it doesn't drop below freezing very often.

But still: a news story about this?!
