Dallas Residents Woke to a SWAT Team and a Battering Ram

What in the world was going on in Dallas this morning? While a quick Google search didn’t reveal the answer, it had to be something very serious. It’s not like they call out the SWAT team and a battering ram to serve a warrant for a speeding ticket...or do they? 

I have a real love/hate relationship with social media (and the internet, in general, for that matter). On the one hand, you have pretty much every bit of information known to man a click away. You also have a ton of misinformation readily available. And don’t get me started on the toxicity of social media. However, admittedly, some of the snark on social media is hilarious.

At the end of the day, I have no earthly idea why a SWAT team with a battering ram was called out to an apartment complex in the Trinity Groves area of Dallas this morning. But I am 100% certain that I’m thankful I wasn’t the person in that apartment. Because I can’t think of a worse way to start your day.
