Chess and Rubber Duck Inducted Into Toy Hall of Fame

The Toy Hall of Fame has been open for fifteen years and in 2013 we have some controversy.

12 toys were nominated this year for entry into the Toy Hall of Fame (all listed below). Online polls had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and My Little Pony running strong, but in the end a national selection committee made up of 23 (so called) experts, including toy collectors, designers and psychologists, voted in the rubber duck and chess.

Now being a kid from the 90's, I want my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the hall of fame. We could do without My Little Pony in my opinion. I know how iconic the rubber duck and chess were, but TMNT was way more important in my childhood.
