Those little plastic rings can be deadly when they go into the ocean. One company had a genius idea to solve this problem.

As a kid, I was always taught to cut those little six-pack rings. My parents didn't drink beer, but their soda would come on them. Today I learned, cutting them does help. However, sea creatures will still eat them and die. Salt Water Brewery is trying to fix this problem.

They have developed a six-pack ring that will degrade over time if it falls into the ocean. It can support the weight of all the beer. Plus, the animals can eat it and be just fine. Salt Water Brewery is located in Florida. I guess the next time I go down there, I will have to pick up some.
