2012 has been a pretty great year for Playboy – but then isn’t it always?

It’s Brooke Hogan’s birthday is on May 5th, and we think that the Hulkster might hurt us if we don’t declare her a Crush of the Day.

We first were interested in Santigold because she used to be called Santogold – a name taken from Santo Gold, the protagonist of bizarre 80s Z-movie ‘Santo Gold’s Blood Circus.’ And then she got sued by Santo Gold! Changing her stage name to Santigold seemed to have resolved the issues, and her career has skyrocketed from there.

Whatever misgivings we may have about ‘Dark Shadows‘ aside, Eva Green is by far hot enough to be our Crush of the Day.
