America’s Worst ‘Coffee Chain’ Has Over 1,100 Locations in Texas
Someone on the internet ranked the 7 worst coffee chains in America, and the worst of the worst has locations all over Texas. However, I couldn’t disagree more with their assessment.
The problem I have with the list shared by TCMA is that most of the places on it aren’t considered coffee chains. Starbucks and Seattle’s Best Coffee are the only pure coffee chains on the list. The rest are places that just so happen to serve coffee.

For instance, if you were to ask me to point you in the direction of a nearby coffee house, I would not give you directions to the nearest 7-11, Burger King, or – wait for it – Taco Bell. Yes, those folks consider Taco Bell a coffee chain.
But here’s the real kicker – they claim McDonald’s is the worst coffee chain in the country. I don’t know about you, but when I think about the Golden Arches, burgers and fries immediately come to mind. Not coffee.
However, in my opinion, McDonald’s doesn’t make a bad cup of coffee. In fact, I haven’t had coffee from another fast-food chain that I thought was better than theirs. Hell, my wife even keeps the McDonald’s K-Cups in stock at the house.
Anyway, I couldn’t resist the urge to poke a little fun at the folks who compiled the list. Maybe next time they decide to rank the worst coffee chains in the country, they’ll list actual coffee chains rather than fast-food joints and convenience stores.
