Whataburger Ketchup Now Being Used To Measure Hail In Texas
A San Antonio meteorologist may have just come up with a new official classification for hail. The only problem is that not everyone will know what he’s talking about. We Texans will, though.
I do know a few people who don’t like Whataburger. But they’re the exception to the rule. Most of my acquaintances are like me and absolutely love it.
And I feel like Whataburger has the best damn ketchup on the planet. I’ve been known to dip my fries and my burger in it. The only problem is that I struggle to decide between Fancy Ketchup and Spicy Ketchup when placing my order. Both are equally delicious.

So yeah, I got a kick out of KSAT’s Justin Horne using a Whataburger Fancy Ketchup pack for reference when sharing a photo of how big the hail that recently slammed Central Texas was. It was just as easy as imagining the diameter of golf ball size hail (I do like to play a round of golf every now and then).
However, I’m at Whataburger a little more often than the golf course (or plenty of other places, for that matter), so maybe we should start using Whataburger products for reference when describing the size of hail from now on.
