‘Amazon CEO’ Apologizes for Creepy Drone Delivery Idea in Hilarious Video
Earlier this month Amazon.com announced its plans to launch aerial deliver drones that will deliver packages to your doorstep within 30 minutes of ordering.
Of course, this is obviously the first step toward self-aware war machines taking over the world making humans their lackeys, and that has many people worried.
In an attempt to address these concerns, comedian Dartanion London (playing the part of Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos) has come out with a video apologizing for the distress he has caused since the company announced its aerial drone delivery plans.
In the video, he outlines several steps Amazon will take to make the drones seem less creepy and more natural, like dressing them up like bees. He also reassures us that the drones will not be cage fighting any birds for territory -- well, that's a relief.
We have the feeling, however, that after watching London's Amazon apology video -- which also announces it's not just buying a few small helicopters, it's actually building an entire network of drones in the sky (something referred to as Skynet) -- you won't be feeling very reassured.
