Amazon.com is looking to the future of order delivery, not only aiming for an unheard of 30 minute delivery, but doing so with unmanned aerial drones.

In a story that really sounds like something featured on The Onion or published on April 1st, online retailer Amazon.com has revealed their plans for Prime Air, a new delivery system designed to get customers’ their orders in 30 minutes or less through the use of unmanned drones.

According to the website, the technology is well on its way to completion and should be ready to launch as soon as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has considered the situation and instituted the necessary regulations for unmanned aerial vehicles, possibly as early as 2015 according to Amazon.
