Pets are awesome. Period. Whether they’re snuggling up to you on the couch while you watch television or greeting you when you walk through the door, they’re a great addition to your household. Children love pets, grandparents love pets, even pets love other pets. Some pets don’t have a place to call home, and that’s where you can help.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an energetic puppy that loves kids to at cat who’s just as laid back and quiet as you are, chances are they’ll have your perfect match.

May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.

AJ is a cute little guy. He’s a domestic short hair kitten, loves sitting in your lap, and will let you know when he wants to be held by climbing onto you. He’s up-to-date on his shots and is house trained, and looking for a place to call home.

Bruce is an adult male retriever mix. He’s really laid back and not really playful, but he’s not lazy. He loves people and does well on a leash, but don’t be surprised if he lets you know he’s excited to see you. He’s neutered, heartworm tested, up-to-date on his shots, dewormed, and microchipped. He would love to meet you today.
