Add Another to the List, Texas Teacher Charged With Improper Relationship With a Student

Is it just me or are Texas teachers in the news for this more than any other state?

I would hope when you search Texas teacher on our sites, it would be how much teachers help students in our state. Those stories are there, unfortunately, they're mostly stories of teachers sleeping with their students. The latest one comes out of Cypress Springs, which is east of Dallas.

High school teacher Michelle Schiffer admitted to detectives that she had sexual intercourse with a fifteen-year-old student during the summer of 2017. Cypress Fairbanks ISD released this statement on the incident. "When the alleged actions of the staff member were learned, she was immediately removed from campus and placed on administrative leave. We will continue to protect our students and not tolerate relationships of an inappropriate nature."

Don't know why it is all of these Texas teachers sleeping with their students. If history tells me anything, we will probably have more of these stories in 2018.
