A Texas Man Spent Twenty Years Filming Celebrities Saying ‘Floyd Lloyd Rocks’
An Austin man has shared the culmination of nearly two decades of celebrity encounters in which he asked celebrities to say “Floyd Lloyd Rocks” on camera.
It all started when Floyd Lloyd (yes, that’s really his name) ran into Nick Nolte at the Sundance Film Festival back in 2000. The hilarious encounter with Nolte got him to wondering just how many celebs he could get to say it.
Most of his encounters are from Sundance, where he works as a volunteer. However, some of the clips are from signings in the Austin while others were on set in Austin. Floyd also does some background acting for films and TV.
Here’s the complete list of celebrities in the video:
Nick Nolte, Kyra Sedgwick, Juliette Lewis, Russell Crowe, Michael Stipe, Ron Jeremy, David Proval, Ryan Gosling, John Waters, Robert Duvall, Jodie Foster, Fairuza Balk, David Morse, James Cromwell, Colin Farrell, Stanley Tucci, Traci Lords, Sam Neil, Lance Armstrong, Vanilla Ice, Roger Ebert, Ozzy Osbourne, Edward James Olmos, Lorne Michaels, Chevy Chase, Conan O'Brien, Chris Kattan, Peter Fonda, David Arquette, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jack Black, David Cross, Kevin Smith, Poppy Montgomery, Tom Green, Billy Baldwin, Jamie Kennedy, Nick Cannon, John Paul Dejoria, Eddy Kaye Thomas, Tom Arnold, Zooey Deschanel, Cheryl Hines, Efren Ramirez, Quentin Tarantino, Texas Governor Rick Perry, Billy Bob Thornton, Tracy Bird, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Ann Magnuson, Rob Thomas, Peter Sarsgaard, and Gena Rowlands.
