The legendary Texas band needs no introduction, but let's check out who will be taking the stage first on Tuesday night.

Pretty awesome to have a big rock show back at Kay Yeager Coliseum. It has been several years since a big band like ZZ Top has taken over The Coliseum here in Wichita Falls. Over the weekend, they announced who will be opening the show and it looks like The Summit will be coming to Wichita Falls as well.

The Summitt Announced as ZZ Top Opener

The band comes to us out of Ohio and actually opened up for ZZ Top on their tours back in 2017 and 2018. They have also had the privilege to open up for Collective Soul and REO Speedwagon. If you enjoy Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie, or The Black Crowes you will probably dig The Summitt.

ZZ Top Last Played at Kay Yeager Coliseum Back in 2004

ZZ Top most recently played in Wichita Falls back in 2017 at Memorial Auditorium. This will be the band's first show in the Coliseum since the 2004 'El Cabron' Tour. That would be the first tour ZZ Top would do after getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just a few months earlier. You can check out some of that ceremony above.
