Sad news to report from right here in Wichita Falls last night.

Wichita Falls police were called out to to the 2100 block of Grant Street for an assault around 11:30 last night. When police arrived they found 45-year-old Katherine Acuna deceased inside of the house from what appeared to be stab wounds. A knife was found at the scene by investigators. The Wichita Falls police were investigating this as murder after interviewing witnesses.

Early this morning, Wichita Falls police arrested a suspect in the case. According to Wichita Falls Police Department Public Information Officer Sergeant Charlie Eipper, 45-year-old Narciso Caso Espinosa was booked and charged with murder in the Wichita County Jail. His bond has been set at one million dollars. Espinosa is reported to be the boyfriend of the victim.

The Wichita Falls Police Department has not released any other information at this time, according to KFDX. We will update this story if more information becomes available.
