Wichita Falls Wildcats Owner To Step Down at End of the Season
For the past ten years, Roy Davoult has been the owner of our Wichita Falls Wildcats. For next season, someone new will be likely be taking over.
Hockey has been here in Wichita Falls for twelve years, with Roy being an owner for ten of them. Roy says it's time to put his focus on other aspects of his life.
"I've got to take care of my family first," Davoult told TRN. "It's been 10 good years, but it's time for someone else to take over my part of it. I had a decision to make, and I wanted to simplify my life more."
I hope this is not the end of the Wildcats in our city. Go out and support those Wildcats.
Tickets for all remaining home games in march are only five bucks, and all tickets are free to the last two regular home games of the season on April 7 and 8. So take the whole family to a game at an affordable price this month, or completely free next month.
Davoult is hopeful someone will be willing to buy his portion of the Wildcats. He hopes to attend games next season as a fan in the stands with this family.
