That area many use as a nice pit stop on a road trip through our town. The Loves Travel Stop on Central East Freeway is always busy and it looks like the company is going to be pumping A LOT of money into this location.

Three Million Dollar Upgrade Coming to Loves Travel Stop in Wichita Falls

First of all, get ready for a bigger store. They plan to add another 509 square feet to the building. Good news for truckers that use this location to freshen up. New bathrooms will be installed with all new showers. A new Love's Fresh Kitchen is also apart of the upgrade.

What Does a Love's Fresh Kitchen Offer?

According to the Love's website, "fresh cut fruit and parfaits to salads, wraps, and tacos, all Love’s Fresh Kitchen items are prepared in-store daily, using regional produce, eliminating the need for long-haul shipping. All products are grab and go, allowing customers to get back on the road quickly."

I saw the story above yesterday from Coming Soon Texas. I called over to this Loves location this morning and they did confirm that the upgrade will be starting next year. It is expected to last about four months. We can't wait to see how it turns out.
