Wichita Falls Easter Egg Scam Ruins Holiday for Several Families

Hopefully you had a good Easter Sunday. Unfortunately for some in our area it was not the best Easter morning with someone taking advantage of people.

Well we're all getting back into the swing of things after Easter Sunday and I am sure for many families in our area, an Easter Egg Hunt took place. Looks like some folks in the Wichita Falls area were offering to 'Egg Your Yard'. Basically let them take care of hiding the eggs on your property for a fee.

Egg Your Yard Flyer Going Around Wichita Falls

This flyer was posed in several Facebook groups in our area. Including ones for Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, and Iowa Park from what I have personally seen. The posts were put up by Kiley McCabe in the Facebook groups and many have since been deleted. However several residents have shared their frustrations online with not receiving any eggs.

Easter Egg Scam in Texoma?

Blake Ashton in Burkburnett says that he has screenshots with Kiley agreeing to purchase eggs and that they would be put up on Saturday night. At 6AM on Sunday, he still had no eggs on his property. He was trying to contact Kiley and received no response. Russel Justice commented on the post saying, "Same here I paid for 50 eggs and now she won't respond" 

Stolen Flyer?!

It looks like Kiley also stole this flyer from someone else in town. From what I have seen from people in our area, Sarah Clark Guffey delivered on her eggs and even offered to help families that got screwed over by Kiley on Sunday. Looks like Kiley added her phone number and for some reason her cleaning service to the flyer as you can in the differences above.

Kiley McCabe Responds to Accusations

Since Kiley put her phone number on the flyer, I thought. Why not give it a call? To my surprise, she actually answered. I asked her about the Easter Eggs she was supposed to hide and she claims she did not get home til 1AM on Saturday and was too tired to go out. Kiley claims anyone that paid for the eggs will be getting refunded by Friday.

To anyone that purchased eggs from Kiley McCabe, I would be sure you get that refund.
