Easter is just a few weeks away and Wichita Falls is once again putting on a FREE Easter egg hunt for the whole family.

This year, Easter falls on April 20. You can get in the Easter spirit a little early on April 12th with The Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation Department's annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year it will be taking place at Hamilton Park located at 2901 Hamilton Boulevard.

The Parks and Recreation Department plans on taking full advantage of the 64 acre park for families to go try and find thousands of eggs. Festivities will take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. on April 12th. Not only can families take part in the Easter Egg Hunt. Carnival games, Easter crafts, and the opportunity to take photos with the Easter
Bunny will also be available as well.

Rules for Wichita Falls Easter Egg Hunt

Kids will be able to hunt for Easter Eggs based on their age.

• Ages 8 to 10 start at 2:00 pm
• Ages 5 to 7 start at 2:15 pm
• Ages 4 and under start at 2:30 pm

The Parks and Recreation Department recommends that your child bring a sack or basket for the kids to hold the eggs. Kids, be on the lookout for the golden eggs. 24 in total will be somewhere in the park. If you get one of the golden eggs you get a special prize.
