This morning I had the pleasure of hosting a couple of the Wichita Falls Derby Dames in the Buzz studio. F-Word and Stevie Bash stopped by to talk about their upcoming bout, Red, White, and Bruised. It's taking place at the MPEC on Saturday, with the doors opening at 5:00 and the first whistle at 6:00. You'll want to come early, because their bouts get crowded. After all, what's better than girl-on-girl action?

Tickets have been selling like hot cakes, so if you'd like to get your hands on them, contact any WF Roller Derby member, find the Derby Dames on Facebook, stop by the Roller Plex, or at Deviance Skate Supply.

Each time the Dames have a bout, a portion of the ticket proceeds to go a charity, and this time 10% will be going to the Early Head Start Program of Wichita Falls.

If you've never been to a bout, now is the time to check it out. It's a lot of fun and a great way to spend your Saturday evening. Plus, you'll still have time to catch the fireworks at Freedom Fest!
