This was one of the oldest operating churches in Wichita Falls when it closed and many will recognize the property on 10th Street for its iconic gold dome. Michael Mitchell is the chair of the revitalization project for this neighborhood and he hopes potential buyers will keep the historic building the way it looks to keep the history of Wichita Falls alive.

When Can You Buy the Old Floral Heights United Methodist Church?

On May 5, 2025 the auction will be live for the property. Bidding will start at $150,000. The 2.94-Acre property of course features the church, but also a kitchen and daycare area. The property also has a cell phone lease with AT&T and if you were to become the new owner, $2,800 a month would be coming to you from that alone. That iconic gold dome does have working bells as well.
