Looks like some money went missing from one of our local high school cheer teams and the WFISD launched an investigation.

Back in March of 2024, Legacy High School announced that they had hired Midwestern State Alum, Jordan Ingram as the new cheer coach. She has also been featured in the Wichita Falls Fellowship of Christian Athletes in our area.

Jordan Ingram Accused of Stealing Funds from the Cheer Fundraiser

Just a few weeks ago according to the WFISD, a pretty significant amount of money was missing from the cheer program. The WFISD followed procedure and immediately launched an investigation into the missing money and contacted the Wichita Falls police. In press release, obtained by KFDX, it said the investigation suggested possible misappropriation rather than accidental loss, leading the district to engage the WFISD Police Department to pursue criminal charges.

Jordan Ingram Arrested for Theft on Tuesday

Details are very limited at this time for all of Jordan Ingram's alleged crimes she may have committed while allegedly stealing these funds. She was booked in the Wichita County Jail for theft of at least $2,500 but under $30,000. She is currently being held on a $25,00 bond.
