An ice cream truck giving away FREE ice cream? Sounds too good to be true, but it happened over the weekend in Wichita Falls.

Wishing a Happy 5th Birthday to Emery Rangel. Today is officially her birthday, but over the weekend she decided to celebrate in a different way. Instead of a traditional party, Emery had a special request for her parents. She wanted to give out ice cream from a real ice cream truck. Apparently, Emery did this last year (from the sound of it she wants to do it next year too).

I reached out to Emery's mom, Ashley Kimbrough to share her story and it looks like she rented out the 32 Below Ice Cream Truck out of Iowa Park. Thankfully, the truck has all those classic ice cream flavors from all of our childhoods.

Now instead of having a bunch of free cupcakes for everyone coming over for Emery's birthday. Everyone got to enjoy ice cream from the truck. However, the entire neighborhood got free ice cream thanks to Emery (let's be honest, Emery's parents need the shout out here). She got to hand out ice cream to everybody for her birthday.

Emery said instead of doing a boring party, she would rather give ice cream away to others. Honestly, sounds like a way better birthday to me. I don't care how old you're. Once you hear that music from an ice cream truck, we all think about running outside to go get one.

Mom even got a little creative and made custom ice cream balloon sculptures and they turned out great. I will need to remember next year around April 30th to make sure I stop by Emery's neighborhood because I do not want to miss out on free ice cream.
