We have so many options in our great state, but which one reigns supreme?

I love food, at one point in my life, I loved it a little too much. I weighed 325 pounds at one point. So, believe me, I know food. That's why with everyone of these food posts, my stomach starts to growl. This one comes to us from Thrillist, they have determined what food you have to get in every state.

For Texas, the winner is brisket. I was a little shocked by this. Not hating on brisket at all. Growing up in the north, I thought Texas was famous for steak. According to them, the best brisket in Texas is in Austin, at a place called Franklin Barbecue. If you want a place for good brisket in Texoma, check out our Best Barbecue Restaurants in Town. Many of them have brisket on the menu.

Let's not forget our neighbors to the north in Oklahoma, their food is something called an onion burger. I will be honest, never tried one, hell, I have never even heard of it. They say the best is at Tucker's Onion Burgers in Oklahoma City. Guess it's something to try out next time I am in Oklahoma. If you want to see the other states, Thrillist has you covered.
