Waymo Expands in Texas: Driverless Rides Coming to New City
Waymo just announced its next Texas destination. Get ready for driverless taxis in North Texas.
Why I’m Not Getting Into a Driverless Taxi Anytime Soon

So, I am in no hurry to catch a ride in a Waymo. I would need to have no other option before I gave in and did it. And then I would be nervous as a cat the entire trip.
And while I fully understand most wrecks are caused by human error, I would feel much safer with a living, breathing human being with a life on the line being in control rather than a robot.
Maybe I’m just an old geezer who needs to lighten up and get with the times, but I’m a firm believer that not all change is for the better. So, I’ll stick to what I know when I need a lift.
