Watch a Stripping Bear Give Financial Advice in The Darkness’ Video for ‘Everybody Have a Good Time’

Admittedly, I always kind of wrote The Darkness off as a joke band and never really gave their music a fair chance until recently when their latest album Hot Cakes came out and I gotta say it's been in steady rotation ever since.

Yeah, there's definitely a lot of tongue-in-cheek moments on the album but the truth is I'm impressed with their songwriting and ability to capture the vibe of 70's rock. Even though I lean toward more progressive bands, there's something to be said for having fun playing some good ole rock n' roll and the video is proof that The Darkness know how to have a good time.
