The man with the highest bounty for information on his whereabouts is now in police custody in Wichita Falls.

Every week The Texas Department of Public Safety shares three different top ten wanted lists. That would be fugitives, sex offenders, and criminal illegal immigrants. Unfortunately this week their most wanted sex offender in the state was last known to be right here in Wichita Falls.

As you can see the featured sex offender above with the highest reward of $6,000 was last seen here in Wichita Falls. Turns out, thanks to a tip to Crimestoppers, Wichita Falls police were able to locate him at the Midtown Manor Apartments this week. Miguel Clemento Bishop was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender, a parole violation for possession of a weapon by a felon and also a probation violation for that firearm possession as well.

Wichita Falls police went to the residence this week they believed to be occupied by Bishop. Police found Bishop attempting to hide behind the open front door. Bishop attempted to grab something out of his waistband. Officers then grabbed his arms to restrain him and Bishop was also tased during the arrest. Bishop had a 9mm semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.

Miguel Clemento Bishop Facing Several Charges

Not only was Bishop facing all the charges previously mentioned above. He also adds a resisting arrest charge for not complying with the officers at the Wichita Falls apartment. Bishop is being held at the Wichita County Jail on bonds adding up to $180,000.
