Wichita Falls Newspaper Will Be Rebranding This Month
Looks like the parent company of the Times Record News will be undergoing a name change on November 18th.
Gannett Media owns over one hundred daily newspapers in America and almost 1,000 weekly newspapers. Here in Wichita Falls, they have been the owners of Times Record News. That newspaper you know today was officially established in 1987 when the Wichita Daily Times and the Wichita Falls Record News merged.
Gannett Media Will Become USA Today Co.
Back in 2019, the owners of USA Today purchased Gannett Media. Starting on November 18th, 2025 the company name Gannett Media will be going away and will just be USA Today Co. The only change in your newspaper in a few weeks should be the company name.
