Congratulations to local authorities on getting a very dangerous fugitive off the top ten most wanted list.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is celebrating this week after three individuals on their top ten most wanted list were apprehended. One of those was right here in Wichita Falls yesterday at a local motel.

Tyler Lee Palmer Arrested in Wichita Falls

Tyler has been on the run since May of this year after he violated his probation. For months he has not been showing up, which has lead to him joining that top ten fugitives list in the state. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents located and arrested Tyler at local Wichita Falls motel. Since this was investigative information and not a tip, the $3,000 reward for information on Tyler's whereabouts will not be given out.

What Was Tyler Lee Palmer Convicted Of?

In 2021, Tyler was convicted of four counts of Aggravated Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury and subsequently sentenced to 5 years’ probation for each offense. In 2022, he was convicted of Possession of Controlled Substance and subsequently sentenced to 3 years’ probation. You can read more on his arrest record here.

Two Other Individuals Arrested Off Texas Most Wanted List

Besides Tyler here in Wichita Falls. Ryan Cade Lewis was arrested in Milano, Texas. Ryan, pictured above in the far left, was wanted for two counts of sexual assault of child. The other top ten fugitive was Tommie Delamont Kelly out of Houston. Tommie, pictured in the middle, was a top ten sex wanted sex offender in Texas. He did not comply with sex offender registration requirements and had been on the run since May. You can read more on their arrests here.
