Does it seem that you keep doing the same things over and over every holiday season? Here's something different, TubaChristmas.

While the tuba is usually relegated to the back row of the orchestra, pumping out the bass line in staccato notes, a TubaChristmas concert brings this instrument up front and center. In fact from my research it seems that only tubas are involved in a TubaChristmas concert.

TubaChristmas Wichita Falls is hosting a free concert this Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights. The forecast is looking pretty good for the weekend but if that changes they have the option of moving the show inside Akin Auditorium.

The song list includes Christmas classics like Deck The Halls, Silent Night, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells and more.

Rehearsal starts at 1:00 and the concert starts at 3:00 this Saturday afternoon (12.14.19), if you want to know more or find out how to get involved, just reach out to TubaChristmas Wichita Falls.
