This is why you couldn’t pay me to go to the Dallas Zoo today. 

Don’t get me wrong - $1 admission is a hell of a deal not to mention the fact that there are also discounts on food and drinks during Dollar Days. 

But there are tradeoffs involved with those kinds of savings.

As you can see in the below video, the line to get in is ungodly. I don’t even want to think about how long the folks in that line had to sit in traffic, waiting to simply get into the parking lot. 

So, the line at the ticket booth must be horrendously long. And let me tell you, there aren’t many things I despise more than standing in line. 

And can you imagine how crowded it must be? It’s just a matter of time before people start losing their temper and fights break out. 

Therefore, I believe I will hang back on Dollar Days. But if you’re willing to brave it, the next Dollar Day is Tuesday, August 6.
