Top of 2024: Brawl at Fort Worth Walmart

As 2024 winds down, I'm taking a look back at the stories I wrote that got the most eyeballs on them. Today we review the 4th most popular story of the year.

Fists Fly at the Checkout at Fort Worth Walmart

Tensions ran high Friday night at the Walmart off Berry in Fort Worth. 

I’ll be the first to admit that shopping at Walmart can be a frustrating experience at times. While it’s never been bad enough to deter me from going, people there can be downright rude. 

From not watching where they were going to quickly cutting me off to get something from the shelf before I could get to it, I’ve been tempted to call people out for their rude behavior more than once.

But it’s just not worth it. 

Unlike the folks in the video below, I would rather not be featured in the latest viral Walmart beatdown video. I would much rather swallow my pride and be on my way. 

Based on my experience, I would assume that rudeness led to the brawl in the clip. But for all I know, these people may have been beefing with one another prior to the incident. 

However, what I do know is that brawling at the Walmart self-checkout is no way to go through life.
