Tom Waits/Cookie Monster Mashup [VIDEO]

This may be one of the simplest great ideas ever. Somebody noticed that Tom Waits and the Cookie Monster sounded alike, so they put the two of the together.

Not only is this a great mashup, I’m thinking Marilyn Manson should cover this song. The song is called “God’s Away On Business” and the Cookie Monster sells it. Sometimes the lipsynching is so on target its hard to believe that Cookie isn’t really singing it. Check it out.
