Another day, another Texas road rage. It’s gotten so bad that I don’t want to travel to our biggest cities. Sure, it’s bad everywhere, but folks in the big city need to calm down.

I was just in the Metroplex this week for a Rangers game. It was an early afternoon game and ended right smack dab in the middle of rush hour. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated heading home.

The horrible traffic conditions were part of the reason I moved back to the sticks in 2000. The crazy thing is that it has gotten worse. Even though there is never-ending road work going on in DFW, they can’t keep up with the massive influx of people moving to the city.

So yeah, I get the frustrations of those who live there. In fact, I would bet money that most people would rather live further away and have a longer commute to work than have to sit in traffic. Sitting at a standstill on a freeway is maddening.

When Road Rage Boils Over

Of course, more traffic means more stupid people on the road. Which, in turn, makes an already frustrating commute that much more frustrating. Hence, the video below. I don’t know who did what to set each other off, but it was bad enough to get out of their vehicles and start throwing blows right there in the middle of the road.
